Trek are the USA’s biggest bike manufacturer with a history of innovation and major competition winning.

Established for over 30 years Trek’s history is closely linked with design innovations and competition successes. They introduced bonded aluminium from the space industry in 1985, progressed to carbon fibre just a year later, moulded carbon fibre by 1989 and then created the first racer/mountain hybrids in 1990. Soon they were creating carbon frames exceeding aerospace standards and watching their bikes cross the finish line first in nine consecutive Tours de France. Pioneering suspension technology and Women’s Specific Design today Trek are at the forefront of environmental innovation convincing Americans to ride instead of drive, recycling and designing easily recycled bikes.
